Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

Ambassador Choi Sangdae met with Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the IEA, on Friday, June 14. They discussed measures for cooperation in promoting the utilization of carbon free energy, strengthening energy security and advancing clean energy transition. In addition, Ambassador Choi emphasized the IEA's continued interest and cooperation for the World Climate Expo, which will be jointly hosted by the Korean government and the IEA in Busan in September 2024.
