Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

The OECD and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF) of Korea jointly held the “OECD-Korea Fiscal Forum”at the the OECD Conference Center in Paris on 25~26 September. This forum, now in its 12th edition, was convened under the theme of “Dynamic Economy and Fiscal Sustainability,”and was chaired by Mr. Barry Anderson, former Assistant Director for Buget, OMB, United States.

Prominent experts and officials from member states and the Secretariat attended the Forum including Ambassador Sangdae CHOI and Chilean Ambassador H. E. Hernan Frigolett.

In the congratulatory remarks, Amb. CHOI emphasized that it is necessary to enhance both fiscal sustainability and economic dynamism in order to respond to future fiscal challenges including demographic changes.
