Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)

On June 5, the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to the OECD, in collaboration with the OECD, hosted the "2024 OECD Career Information Session” to actively support Korean youth in exploring career opportunities at the OECD. During the session, officials from OECD Secretariat provided an overview of their work and detailed the recruitment processes, including application procedures. Korean staff members working at the OECD also shared their experiences.

This year, for the first time, the session was held in a hybrid format, enabling participation not only from Koreans residing in France but also from those in Korea and around the world. Over 150 people attended, including more than 100 online participants from Korea, demonstrating the strong interest in OECD career opportunities.

Ambassador Choi Sang-dae emphasized, “I hope more of our youth will join the OECD and showcase Korea’s capabilities on the global stage as the OECD is increasingly interested in working with talented Korean professionals with Korea’s international standing growth.” He added, “The Korean Delegation to the OECD will continue to provide useful information and facilitate networking opportunities to support aspiring candidates interested in OECD careers.”
